KEVIN J. EGAN

Kevin J. Egan has practiced law for over forty years and, during that time, he has helped clients in a variety of litigation and corporate settings. Following a judicial clerkship in the federal court, Kevin served as federal prosecutor where he actively represented the interests of the United States in the District Court and the Court of Appeals.  Kevin is a retired partner of the national firm of Foley & Lardner LLP, where he counseled corporate and healthcare clients throughout the country. Prior to joining Foley & Lardner, Kevin was a partner at the firm of Winston & Strawn, LLP, where he likewise served corporate clients in litigation, regulatory and related settings.

A frequent lecturer and author, Kevin is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association,  the Chicago Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.

AFFILIATIONS

Kevin is active in civic and political affairs and is the Mayor of the City of Lake Shore, Minnesota and serves on the Board of the Gull Chain of Lakes Association, the Board of the Rotary Club of Brainerd and is active in the Brainerd Lakes Area Economic Development Corporation.

Kevin is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., 1975) and the University of Illinois (B.A., summa cum laude, 1972).
