Cody grew up in Palmer, Alaska before moving to Spokane, Washington where he graduated high school. After high school Cody joined the United States Navy as an Information Systems Technician where he served for 2.5 years onboard the USS Mt. Whitney and several months aboard the USS Donald Cook.
Cody attended the University of Oregon for his undergraduate degree and obtained his Juris Doctorate at Gonzaga University School of Law.
Cody worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Matthew Quinn, in Mille Lacs County District Court before joining Severson Porter as an Associate Attorney in 2021.
In his free time Cody enjoys being outdoors, golfing , playing sports, hunting and fishing.
